Director of Education

Kamila Deen is Director of Education at The Classical Institute, where she provides academic leadership across the Institute, leading its academic strategy, curriculum, and programme development while working closely with faculty to ensure that its educational vision is realised across every aspect of academic life.

Working closely with the Founding Dean, she contributes to the Institute's academic direction, the development of its educational provision, and relationships with academic partners.

Her work strengthens faculty, supports the continued development of the curriculum, and ensures coherence, academic rigour, and excellence across the Institute's educational provision.

She is committed to fostering an intellectually rigorous and accessible academic environment in which students, faculty, and the wider Institute flourish through serious engagement with the classical traditions.

Director of External Relations

It is a privilege to contribute to the work of The Classical Institute, of which I have been a part since its founding in 2018, by developing relationships with academics, educational institutions, and partners who share the Institute's educational vision, while supporting its continued public engagement.

Working closely with colleagues across the Institute, I lead engagement with prospective academics, institutional partners, and the wider academic community, helping to develop collaborations that strengthen the Institute's educational mission and public presence.

I hold a First-Class Honours degree in Chemistry from the University of Birmingham and completed postgraduate training in education before working in teaching and school leadership, including as an Assistant Head. I also serve as Honorary Editor at Allahabad Press.

Programmes and Events Coordinator

It is a pleasure to contribute to the work of The Classical Institute through the development and delivery of programmes and events that reflect its educational vision. Working closely with colleagues across the Institute, I support curriculum development, faculty, and the coordination of academic provision.

A significant part of my role is supporting the intellectual life of the Institute by creating opportunities for thoughtful dialogue, strengthening relationships between students and faculty, and helping to ensure that intellectual engagement continues beyond the classroom.

I hold a degree in Biomedical Sciences. My professional interests lie in educational coordination, programme development, and creating academic experiences that are both intellectually rigorous and accessible.
